Default I'm OK . My potting is not quite done.

I'm OK. Although I don't look OK, I don't look as bad as I expected. I kept putting cold water on my face to stop the bleeding and hoped it would stop it from turning too black & blue. I'm an somewhat bruised but mostly a charming shade of yellow/orange.

I suppose I need charm school to learn how to walk properly. I thought I tripped over a low stool but I think I just lost my balance and fell, with my face on the stool, before my head hit the floor. My forehead, nose, chin, and cheek must have scrapped on the rough top of the stool. I have a nice egg on my forehead, and it still throbs. My upper body is sore but at least I still have all my teeth and no broken bones. My scrapped up face will heal.

I was really hurting, so I slept most of the afternoon. This morning I started to finish my repotting. I only have 4 large pots to re-do but 3 of them are not phrags. I place them in a large under-the-bed tray so I can just slide them down the steps behind me.

It's time for some lunch, more Tylenol and then a nap. The 4 remaining pots will wait for me.

Thanks to everyone for caring. This sure is a wonderful, thoughtful group.

What a trooper! Getting the repotting done even when you're "a charming shade of yellow/orange"

I'm happy to hear it's not as bad as it could have been. We've all tripped over air at some point...it happens to everybody at some point or another

Hugs...

Oooh, that sounds very painful! I'm glad to know that you're on the mend. Yes, I think most of us do this at one time or another -- mine was last year on the golf course when I tripped and fell right on my face. I agree with Becca that those orchids can wait for you. Take care!

Marilyn, It is good to hear that you are not too badly knocked around. I sure hope that everything heals up quickly! Until then, stay well rested and let your body focus its energy on healing.

Leave the plants for later! They'll be there for you - as will we!! - when you are better!
