Default Arctic BLAST hit Pacific NW

I am so bored and have been trapped in the house last few days.

Snow stared falling last Friday evening.. (pic#1) and has not stopped (pic #2 & 3). My Scottish Terrier, Jamie is very comfortable on the couch (pic#4).

So sorry about you being snowed in. Wish I could send you some heat from here.
Your doggy is really enjoying it inside the house. He looks absolutely relaxed and pleased. Very handsome dog.

Naoki, I can sympathize with you. Snow started falling here in Michigan in October and has not stopped since. The average snow depth in our yard is approaching 6 feet. I'm headed for a second snow removal from the roof in the last month and I normally have one done in February. Neighbors are now starting to argue who who put what snow in whose yard! Pretty sad. Yes this is due to global warming and will only get worse as time goes by.

Sheridan, stay warm and let's hope that the snow will go away soon.

I kinda glad that I was able to go to work today, but it was shut down at 1pm. Now back to home.

I'll post a picture tomorrow. It's really tiring, for both me and my wife. We are tired of this white stuff!

We're further north in the Northwest near the Canadian border, but we are getting the same weather as in Portland. We were supposed to go to Spokane today to pick up our handicapped son so that he could be home for Christmas, but the passes and roads are terrible and it doesn't look like he'll be able to come home.
