Paul, the Channel 10 Weather person (who has been reporting for over 20 years - I think) went through the events of the weekend and then said (I am paraphrasing, here
) "I have been doing the weather for XX years and I have seen this weather mix, well,
never!" That's my feelings. I have been here since 1977 and have seen one winter snowfall dump over 4 feet overnight then slowly leave. But to have this slop - well -
never!
Now the end of our driveway has 6-8" of water with a slush covering. We must not drive over it for fear of leaving ruts I can't shovel or snow-blow across. We lost a lot of snow but no grass here! Snow was so deep it remained frozen at bottom even with 50 degree weather. This just keeps getting better. Hear you guys are under flood watch on Pere Marquette and Little Manistee?
