LOL...no, I was never a snow bird!
We lived in New York our entire lives until we made the move down here. My husband worked for NYC Sanitation so when it snowed, I lost him to 12 hr shifts every day for weeks, sometimes!
"That's not snow...that's money" was our mantra
That meant I was left to do the shoveling at home

The last few years up there I was unable to do it and could've just kissed my neighbor when I heard his snowblower running and found he was clearing a path on my property and driveway!
Believe me, I remember it well...and don't want to ever do it again...although I was in NY this past February for their first snow of the year! NOT fun!
