Good for you. I really liked the group before Neil Young entered, but I got to like him as well. Now Neil is even better (in my opinion) as a solo. Let us know what you think of these old farts I think the split up was not amicable, as I recall. Great music came from all the associated groups like Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, the Hollies, etc. I'd like to think these guys can still sing and play like the old days of the 60s.
They had a guitarist that played with Steely Dan and had been a studio musician on a ton of other CD's that was with them, along with David Crosby's son on piano, a drummer that they regularly use and a guy on bass that was an emergency fill-in. (think bass player ill) The guitar player was most excellent. I guess part of the reason that Stephen Stills is no longer playing that much is because of problems with booze. That sure is sad to hear.
