Fantastic pictures, Swamper.

A few years ago we spent 1 month visiting with a family in Brazil. Every morning, their maid woud go to the market to buy bananas. She always came back with a different variety. I never knew that there were so many different kinds of bananas.

Some cold, nasty, day next winter, (we have a lot of those) I will hop a plane, find a motel near RF Orchids, and spend a day (or 2) camping out at RF.......I'm a dreamer.

Those are so pretty. They look just like the tree they grew on. Are they edible, do you know? I wonder what they taste like?

Come on down Marilyn I will be your personal guide and make sure you get to the best places and get the best deals.
Sandy they are edible although those are not ripe yet. I was told the white area turns yellow when they ripen.
Or was it the green turns yellow LOL Either way YES you do eat them.
