Curious looking Anole

Oh he's gorgeous! From up above, the markings make him look like a snake with eyes looking up! Interesting.

And love the photo of the one with the magnificent curled tail!

Might be one of the curly tailed lizards. I know there is an invasive member of that genus from Cuba which is spreading rapidly in some areas of Florida. That cuban invader is causing concern as it preys on Florida'a native lizards.

Susie, I use to watch the twilight zone all the time LOL definately not too young for that...I'm keeping an eye out for these in my yard now though.

That is one cool looking lizard! We have nothing here nearly as pretty as that one.
