Default Cactus blooms

I don't know much about cacti, but I have a few. This one blooms reliably. Took the pic a couple of months ago, just got lost in the shuffle. Enjoy.

Very beautiful Royal!! The blooms seem huge compared to the size of the growths carrying them. I have tried to keep cacti, but I either kill them or can't get them to bloom again!

I'm thinking this is a Parodia. Which species, I have no clue. Here is Parodia mairanana

The one on the left. Not the same spination, but similar blooms.

I've long been a fan of cacti for their flowers, don't know the size of yours, but it could be a Rebutia or a Chaemaecyparis (think I got that right) depending on the relative heights. This is gorgeous though, really colourful and so many flowers

I'll get around to posting some of my flowers in my gallery eventually.

Good gardening!

Just had another look at the spines, could even be an Echinops hybrid

Only down side is how short-lived cacti blooms tend to be
