I'm a scaredy cat. But if everyone says it's beautiful, then who am I to disagree?
Beautiful Susanne!

Nice one Sue. My mother was scared to death of spiders but was VERY superstitious and thought it to be bad luck to kill a spider in your home, so it was my job to take it outside without hurting it. I'm not superstitious, but to this day I can't hurt a spider.

My spider is bigger than your spider This is Sue, she is almost 6" from leg tip to leg tip. Her hubby can barely be seen at the top of the picture. Sue has been with us all summer long guarding the orchids in the backyard.

You named her SUE?
I love it!!!
She's gorgeous. I'm always fascinated by spiders...as soon as I research them to confirm they're not venomous

I thought you had a banana spider there for a second. That is always my immediate reaction when I see yellow and black and big! I am not a fan of those!
This one is pretty though. The one from the other post of yours though would have scared me a touch.
cabnc, yours looks scary! Anything 6" is too much for me. Pretty, but scary too...

Nice spider, we have a similar garden spider here , but you have to get up very early morning to see it . By the time the sun is up it has gone to wherever it sleeps . I like spiders that keep the orchid eating bug population in check ,thanks for the pics
