any word from Royal yet? I 'm pretty sure he is in the "hard hit" area.
Oh sorry I didn't see this last page...I hope they are ok

Not yet...from what I've been able to find out, he's in one of the many counties to lose power but it doesn't seem to be one of the harder hit areas...not that ANY hit is good

I didn't think of it but I should've exchanged cell #s with him and maybe we could keep in touch through texts.

Hopefully, he'll check in soon

Still nothing from orchidexpress either

I'm kind of worried about Lee (orchidexpress)...address is directly in Houston!

Right near 45 & 10

I sent emails to both of them...hoping to hear from them soon. I gave Royal my cell # in case he's able to send texts.

I'll post a notice as soon as I hear anything from them.

I did a search for Lee's location...and it is directly in the little red box we've all been seeing on the weather maps in the middle of Houston!

Hi everyone. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts.

I'm ok! Hadn't checked my email yet - I came here first. Can't chat long cause I have to conserve the laptop battery. Cell service is finally ok to get online.

Our power went out Sat morning at about 5 am. The eye came through at about 1 pm. Water went off, then back on - thank goodness. Still no power. No damage to our house, or orchids. Most of the mounts are already back out ejoying the cool evening. LOTS of trees and limbs down.

I'll check back in later. Focus all your worrying on Lee. I'm safe, just bored.
