When I lived in NY, I would always tease my MIL because almost all of our phone conversations had to do with the weather here.

Once I moved down here, I apologized to her...the weather is always so extreme here, we need to stay alert!

Not just Hanna but the other two going the same way too. It's been such a crazy season. I'm right in the middle of everything here. They're passing to the north or to the south this time but still you guys get them. It's horrible!!!

Sometimes I envy you Floridians, growing orchids in your trees, outside.........until Hurricane season. Shoveling snow doesn't sound too bad after seeing this.

It's still a lovely place to live and grow orchids. We just need to be vigilant about watching the weather. All or most of these storms can be prepared for
