Default Hurricane Gustav!!!

I'm just reading the latest on this huge storm and it doesn't look good!

My thoughts and prayers are with everybody in Gustav's path...

Stay safe and get out of harm's way early!

It must be a monster storm because we've had heavy bands of rain and high winds here all day today and the local news says it's the outer fringes of this SOB!

Are the rest of you in the Gulf getting anything?

Wanda, is this thing expected to affect you there?

I can't even begin to imagine how the folks in it's path are feeling! It must be like a nightmare they can't wake up from! My heart goes out to everybody that's going to get hit again

No it's too far away from us. We did get a lot of rain from it when it passed by as a tropical depression. Now it's beating up Cuba and going straight for the Gulf.

Thanks that's so sweet of you.
I've been so worried about everyone in the huricanes path. It's nerve wrecking to go through this.

Yes, please stay safe and get outta town those in his direct path! Sue we are getting the rain and "breezy" conditions too. Me thinks this one is going to be a monster after reading weather underground and checking the data they have now.....oooooooooooh look at the tropical depressions lined up behind Gustav!!!

Just read that it is headed for New Oleans and the Mayor expects to order a manditory evacuation starting 6AM tomorrow morning. Lots of folks in low-lie parishes are on there way out right now. Here we go again! It's category 4 right now according to Reuters.
