Looks like we'll just be getting some of the outer bands, thankfully.

I'm hoping David checks in to tell us he and his family are good. The storm looks like it's headed towards the Naples area.

This thing still has the potential for change so stay aware.

So far so good down here. Today not as much rain as yesterday so far and the wind has subsided a bit. Nobody felt or broke a leaf. Now we need some sunshine to dry these guys up.

Central Fl East Coast Update...Complete cloud cover, light light rain, and a few small wind gusts. There is some minimal debris outside and banana leaves have a few splits in them. I think this going to be a mild one. Thank Goodness! So far this TS has caused less damage than our typical afternoon thunderstorms.

YAY!!!

I hope to hear LOTS of good news from everybody today!

Looks like we may start getting a bit of "something", it's starting to get dark and the winds are picking up.

I got a jump on the room cleanup this morning...the room and everything in it is now clean

Hi all,

Just spoke with my Parents over at Port Saint Lucie. They say its raining cats and dogs, strong winds, and they lost a few garden plants. The neighbor lost his terrestrial orchids too. But everything else is ok. Good luck to all you Floridians, and for those of you in the clear, I am happy you are all alright.

We started getting a few storm bands late last night and by 8:00 am this morning Fay was right on top of us. Very windy and LOTS of rain, some trees are down along with traffic lights but at least we (so far) have not had our power go off. The winds are still whipping around pretty well with the rotation of the storm and some streets are flooded BUT...I have lots of rain water in my buckets for my chids!!! Stay safe!

Back at ya Sue! Our whole state will be feeling the antics of Fay in some form or other. Glad Fay's just a naughty girl....she could have been a lot worse.

a little naughty is nice...I like the way you looked at the bright side and collected all that rain water...I want to get one of those huge barrels for collecting rain, last night I just filled some really big jars and a couple of buckets., well half filled most of them.
