Do you really want to get rid of it, or just keep it contained? Curious--one person's weed is another's garden flower!
Oh, I want it to be gone. Wedelia would probably make a beautiful display in a hanging basket, but I wouldn't want to chance that either. I'm sure it would eventually find it's way back to the yard. Think of all the cuttings I could sell on eBay.

Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou. I'll be purchasing and applying Vigaro to my yard ASAP. I must tell you that I had just awoken when I saw your post. My eyes were still adjusting and at first glance I thought you said Viagra was the only lawn fertilizer you use. Silly me.

No I use that just before I cut the grass. It makes for a more even cut.

· Arracher manuellement
· Ébouillanter
· Sel de table (localement)
· Brûler avec une torche au gaz propane
· Dans les plates-bandes : sarcler, appliquer du paillis
· Pesticides à faible impact
· Savon herbicide (Topgun localement)

Thanks Emmanuelle--je vais essayer un traduction. Apologies in advance--I'm going to try a translation.

Améliorer les conditions du sol / Improve the soil conditions by:

· Aérer / Aerating
· Terreauter avec du compost /? with compost
· Corriger le pH/ correct the pH
· Ajouter du calcium (chaux, cendres de bois, coquilles d’oeufs)/ Adding calcium (?, woodash, eggshells)
· Moyens mécaniques/ Mechanical means
· Couper la pelouse haut (3 pouces)/ Cut the lawn high (3 inches)
· Maintenir la pelouse dense (sursemer)/maintain dense grass or lawn
· Arracher manuellement/ pull out by hand
· Ébouillanter/ scald (pour boiling water onto it)
· Sel de table (localement) /table salt, locally
· Brûler avec une torche au gaz propane/ burn w/a gas torch
· Dans les plates-bandes : sarcler, appliquer du paillis/ in the flat areas (?), weed & mulch
· Pesticides à faible impact /use weak pesticides
· Savon herbicide (Topgun localement)/ herbicidal soap, "Topgun" is the local brand
· Acide acétique (Ecoclear localement)/ acetic acid ("Ecoclear" is the local brand)

Hope that's roughly right.
-Miriam
