Please say a prayer for my friend Male
Default Please say a prayer for my friend

My friend Don has been in the hospital now for about three weeks. He has gone through chemotherapy and radiation for cancer in the broncial tubes. About two weeks ago, he woke up about three in the morning and was vomiting blood. They admitted him into the hospital and found a mass in his lung. They determined that the lung had to come out. Yesterday, they put a stent in, I assume to stop what little bleeding he was still getting into the other lung. Obviously, the man is very ill. He has been in intensive care for the whole time he has been there with the exception of the first couple of days. I am sure that he would appreciate prayers and I would be thankful if you would give him yours.

Greg,
Don will have my thoughts and prayers and you can be sure that you will also.

Thank you for being such a thoughtful friend. I'm sure he needs and appreciates that friendship, especially now. There are times when "just being there" is of great help.

Al

I appreciate that. I am still waiting to hear something--if the reason they put the stent in did what they wanted it to do. Hell, he has a wife and two kids.

My thoughts exactly. He needs our prayers but caring thoughts from friends are also helpful encouragement for him and his loved ones. Keep us posted.
