Amazing! So much life in such a tiny nest. That's when you want to sit back and take in the wonder of nature. How much we must miss out on each day as we hurry in our busy life.

I wonder how they got those pictures. Im on a mission to see a hummingbird or two in my areas this summer. I hopefully do enough hiking to get a good chance

That's sooooo cool.

I was hiking once and didn't see a hummingbird nest and so I accidentally startled the baby bird and it flew (hoped) away (with great difficulty). I ran after it into the bushes 'cause it couldn't fly well yet and it was too far away from the nest and I didn't want anything to eat it( It was hoping on the ground). After about 10 minutes I caught it and took it back to the nest and it settled right in very nicely. I was sooooo relived after that. Afterward the mama came and everything was ok.
