Gwen,
I have bought "Deer Off" and that works well, but here's the homemade recipe I got off the internet.
Deer Repellent
2 eggs
1 cup skim milk
1 cup water
2 TBS liquid dish detergent
Mix together and spray on plants you want to protect. Repeat every week or so, or after a rain. Refrigerate any unused repellant. (I emulsify the eggs in a blender, and then stir in remaining ingredients).
Recycled laundry stain remover spray containers work well for applying the repellent.
Also, as far as posting pictures, I followed Sue's "resizing images" instructions to a tee. I've downloaded the proper program for Windows XP and I don't know why this doesn't work all the time. It's the same camera, same settings for every picture, etc. Ugh! Frustrating!

Thanks a million! Saved and stored the recipe.

Well shoot! Sometimes, you just need to clean up all your temp files, defragment your hard drive and shut down and restart. Did you give that a go? Sometimes that fixes unexplainable blips.

Kiki - what size do you resize your photos to?
If you wish to attach many to one post .. best is to use the small option .. one post can carry up to 10 photos when thumb-nailing ..
Where is it that you have the problem and what is the message you receive?

I love your garden kiki! It's so pretty (and weed free!) My garden is an uncontrallable mess of greenery, with all the rain. Now I have the motivation I need to start hacking away at my jungle to try to get it nice for the summer! I hope I can stay motivated.

Hi Dorothy! It says:
IMG 1688 (small).jpg
Your file of 103.4 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 97.7 KB for this filetype.
Now I have even tried to resize to Medium and then to Large as Sue's instructions say, and it actually worked for one picture, but not the other two.
Can you tell what is happening by these messages?

Kiki, that sure is a darned site better than the snow pictures we saw just a couple months ago. Just remember, only 179 days left in the year! So get out the snow shovel and get it sharpened up
