NOID...don't even know where to start Male
Default NOID...don't even know where to start

I rescued this strange plant was from an orchid greenhouse that was being torn down. It was growing along the edge of the GH. I said in the title "don't know where to start" because the only way I describe it is that it creeps and crawls.
Here are the pics:
I put it in the pot, it was "wild" before I "planted" it.


The leaves, for reference these are not even the size of my fingernail.


One thing I find strange about the plant are the roots or tubers that it periodically generates:


I'd love someone to ID this or give me a foothold from where I can further my ID-ing process. The plant is NOT thriving, so any culture information is very appreciated.

...almost sure it is Ceropegia linearis (Fam. Asclepiadaceae)
