Does anyone know Rod Venger?

I used to buy orchids from him when he had a commercial nursery somewhere in Colorado. He closed it a while back for reasons I don't remember. I have a mess of orchids in my collection that are still growing strong and blooming that I originally bought from him. He had a website and set up a chat room...sort of a precursor to the OB, if you will. I really enjoyed his efforts and was just wondering what he is up to and if he's doing well. Does anyone know?
