Great Old Pink Rose

This is a very old Jackson and Perkins hybrid called 'Promise'. I've had it for about twenty five years, and it is still about the best true pink around, I think. The blooms don't last more that about four days, but they are huge, six or seven inches on average. Needless to say, I love it.
P.S. Please excuse my neighbor's very clean laundry in the background.

Twenty five years, an everlasting green thumb you have. That is gorgeous. I love roses and it's such a shame that so so many of them are without a fragrance. Nice one

Laundry, run it by your neighbor if I bring mine over will she hang mine up . Miss the fresh air drying of clean clothes.
