Normally I don't give plugs like this, but in case there are people on the forum that are going through the 'baby phase' right now, let me tell you about some cool baby toys that 'daddy' (me) is playing with.
I've always been a gadget guy, so when it came to the whole baby business that's I've been going through lately, I wouldn't have it any other way
I've got an Internet camera with pan and tilt that I can access remotely and watch the little one as he plays, when he moves to the other part of the room I can follow him. It's very cool to sit at work and have the video minimized in the corner and know what's going on at home. Camera even has night vision! In case you're curious, this is the one:

Then once home, we have a different camera that we use as a baby monitor, one that also pans and tilts directly from the hand held receiver! how cool is that. The only one on the market ! Also comes with night vision, so seeing the baby in pitch dark room is a snap! This is the kit that we got:

3rd gadget is connected 24/7 to the TV and it supplies baby room feed to one of the TV inputs on the 62" big screen. This way when we watch a movie, we have a picture in picture in the upper right corner and can see the little one. This is especially useful during nap times. This one I got somewhere else, but very useful ! If you need it I can probably dig out the link. The cool thing is that the hand held monitor can also do this.
Just thought I'd suggest these cool gadgets to you guys, they are working great and are really useful. My mother watches the little one and even she said that she has no idea how she raised us without all the technology. She relies on it all the time, because it just make life so much easier.
I ordered a 2nd camera today for #2 that's on its way. I told the folks at

Also saw a GPS unit that doubles as a backup camera and plays movies, which was also tempting me, but I just had one GPS stolen and got a replacement at costco the other day, so I didn't want to go there
