I loved it.I was planning on hanging several orchids in the trees in my backyard(which is full of squirrels,deer,fox,etc)-am I just asking for trouble?

Those rascally squirrels .. if there is food to be found, they WILL find a way!

LOL That's great!!! The second part reminded me of the time when I did my internship in UC Irvine. The squirrels there used to go in the automatic food sellers (or whatever you call those machines in english ) to steal candy bars.. butthe best part was to see some students just waiting for the squirrels... They just run after the poor liitle thieves, and when they left the candy bars fall the students used to get them...

(I have to admit I did it too a couple of times... it was just lots of fun )
