I was giving this plant and love the way it looks w/ the coloration on the leaves and all... I am told by the girl that gave it to me that she has been told that it is somewhere in the same family as cactus....ive looked high and low and the closest thing in the cactus family I can find is an agave and that is no where near this plant... if any one has any ideas please let me know
and as always ThanX
I have a couple of other plants I would like help IDing so don’t take the thinking caps off just yet
Also known as "Mother-in-laws-toungue".
Grow in Phal. light, keep pot bound. Can reach 4 to 5 feet tall. You can easily start another plant by cutting off one leaf near the base of the plant and pot up in a small pot. Takes some time but eventually you'll see a new leaf sprouting from the base of the cutting.
AL
i thought they called it mother-in-law's tongue because the longer you have it, the longer the "tongue" grows... and i am speaking from experience. lol
