"Telemarketing" scam

Lately, I've been getting incoming calls on my cell from a 215 area code number. It's not a number I recognize so I've just been ignoring it. Tonight, I did a little research to find out what area code it is and was surprised to find out that this particular number is from a telemarketing company based in Pennsylvania and they have a number of complaints listed. Some people have been charged $1.99 for taking the call!

I just registered my cell with the Do Not Call registry as my home number is already on the registry.

Thought you would all like to know...if you get a call from this number on your cell or it shows on your caller ID...ignore it!

I did this with mine last fall. I never get unsolicited calls (knock on wood). Thanks for the heads up.
