Golden shower tree

The tree blooms in early summer. Here they are widely planted in streets, parks and river banks. The flowers have a pleasant fragrance, which can be smelled when walking under the trees.

They are beautiful. Also very messy and invasive if I remember correctly.

Spectacular show! The sort of tree that is beautiful on somebody else's property and not where you have to park your car. Where I live, Jacaranda has a similar role - beautiful clouds of purple that are exhilarating but very messy and rough on automobile paint jobs. In a park like these, fantastic.

Spectacular yellow against the blue sky. The hanging effect is also what I love about my orchids that display this way.
