I lost of the tag, but based on the fern leaf... I'm pretty sure it's Epi chrysocardium. It's supposed to be a very shy bloomer and after three years... it decided to put on a couple of buds! I hope they flower before I leave for the holidays.

The receptacle (?) is really long on this one.

Good job! It needs to be huge before flowering, and few people have enough indoor space for it. Remember it's a night bloomer so you don't miss it. Botanists have transferred it into genus Selenicereus.

Thanks - It's a huge, vigorous plant in a 7 gal pot. I've had to trim it down multiple times. Definitely not a window sill or even a greenhouse grower. Thankfully it grows fine outdoors in San Diego.

I think it may open up tonight!

Whoh! Reminds me of Camillia. New to me and it's wonderful...and a night bloomer!
