Wednesday and yesterday, it was warm enough to take a walk on the beach. Today's high is 33°F colder than yesterday, with another 7-10° drop expected overnight - and it's raining, so that means everything is getting coated in ice.
Fridge and bar both stocked. Good book on Kindle. No orders will be shipped until Monday, so I'll just take it easy...
I lived in NC for a few years. Ice storm conditions were the worst (but BEAUTIFUL), I hope you don't lose power.
In my time there I noticed that NC is far enough north to get snow and ice but also far enough south to be only marginally prepared for snow and ice. Thankfully I lived right down the street from the municipal plow storage yard so I was never snowed in for long.
I learned to drive in San Diego and I was often one of the better drivers on the road during snow conditions. I’ll add that I was usually the best driver on the road at other times, not sure why people drive so terribly over there in general. If you get a lot of snow, please post some pictures for the rest of us!
