Default The unnamed Thing

Hello!

I have one Question:
I have worked at a botanic garden for a while and the gardener allowed me, to collect a few seeds. Unfortunately, I forgot, to look at the sign.

What plant is that on this pictures?

I have raised it from little seeds.

I would be very happy for any answers.

Wait till it blooms. That will narrow it down to family, or maybe even genus, and if you are lucky, species.

Looks like something in the spiderwort family to me; google Tradescantia and compare.

If it is a orchid, to me it looks like the Bamboo orchid Arundina graminiflolia Check out this site to see if it is the flower you remember.
