I was the “lucky” recipient of metastatic malignant melanoma (not sun related) a while back, and had 3 surgeries to remove it all. Once a month for a year, then every 6 months for 5, I had to get totally naked for my oncologists to inspect every mole on my entire body. Of course, both of them were in their 30’s and looked like models.

At my last visit, I said, “C’mon now. It’s only fair... Your turn.”

What!!!
I'm sorry that is F*@^k'd up. (I think that is the first time I cursed on orchid board). I would consider that a violation of human rights. And to top it off, completely pointless.

We were very worried, as she is taking drugs that suppress her immune system, but fortunately, other than flu-like symptoms, she has experienced nothing, and in a phone call moments ago, she has recovered, except for nasal congestion.

Upon hearing of her illness, I did the responsible parent thing and had a case of Prosecco shipped to her. The state health department contacted her right away, and a social worker contacts her daily to see how she's doing and if she needs anything. That's pretty amazing for as backwards a state as NC is.
Wow, nice. I'm glad she is doing well. My wife and I bought that Appalachian Mtn home in NC a few months ago (remote closing). I love it there and will be staying there in a few weeks for a few weeks. Do you know if NC will give vaccines to out-of-staters? My mom is going there from Florida with only 1 shot and we were hoping she didn't have to go back to Florida for the second.

I know they'll give shots to non-residents, but I am of the impression (right or wrong) that both doses must be given from the same location.

EDIT- just talked to a neighbor who got the first vaccination in SC, and is planning to get the second here.

I understand where you'd be skeptical based upon the abundance of hyperbole and polarizing viewpoints on the matter. The profit driven healthcare system and those who have a stake in aspects of it are enough to make anyone suspect. You also forgot to list J&J's asbestos contaminated talc baby powder that they lied about for years (not conjecture, and recently upheld in court). None of these corporation are in the right all the time.

But... to be frank it's not possible that there is concerted effort to do anything untoward through formulation, with 4 different technologies, and over 200 formulas put into trials, 8 being used, and innumerable amount of scientist involved. The effectivity is great across the board and side effects largely mitigated.

What's more is only a small amount of the global population will have the privileged access to vaccination in the next year or two. Not much a plan for a mass mind control conspiracy. Sadly the global poor, most in need, won't likely see the vaccine because wealthy nations have bought many times their population in vaccine to use as leverage.

That is the real tragedy.

I don't trust the makers. Pfizer is in league with Bill Gates. Gates financed 5 vaccine manufacturing facilities. The Gates Foundation is the originator of the ID2020 plan. (Look it up)
Moderna has all sorts of trust issues. Look up Hydrogel.
I don't trust the Government push or the main stream media who have produced a level of fear in this country not seen since the 1930s in Europe. They have proven themselves unworthy of the name 'journalist'. Beware who you listen to and from where you get your information!!
I will join a large and growing segment of the population who will never let this vaccine enter my body.

Just so you know, I had the virus back in September. Mild fever, lack of energy, loss of taste/smell. Two weeks later I was back at work. I'm 66.
