A report 2 weeks after treatment.
Both the Mandarin trees lost all their leaves, but I can see the start of loads of new ones, they're a bit pale at the moment but my citrus leaves often start that colour and green up as they get bigger. Fingers crossed the new leaves are ok.
The hibiscus leaves are returning to a nice healthy green colour - result!
The Thunbergia Grandiflora lost most of it's leaves, they gradually turned brown/dried out and then fell off. However some new leaves have started to emerge that are looking much healthier. Quite strange though that the affected leaves that didn't fall off have not recovered any green.
I would like to add some potash to my garden, especially to these plants. In the UK I would have used ash from the bonfire pile. Where I live we are only allowed to have a bonfire once a year, in late June, to celebrate a certain saint. By this time of year all ashes have blown away (I don't have a bonfire in my own garden anyway) from the communal pile in the field. I was wondering if the ashes from BBQs would be OK to use or if charcoal has already released it's goodies before it gets to the BBQ? Anyone know?
