I had no idea that there were supply issues with Besgrow sphag, that's very good to know. I still have some left, but maybe I should already start looking where to buy my next batch from!

Honestly, try to grow you own!

Never ending stock, saves money in the long run, no maintenance, and doesn't harm the planet as much.

I had tried to grow some once, but for me the hassle and effort of growing it is too much compared to the small quantity I use. I'm already stretching my boyfriend's patience to the limit with my orchids all over the living room, and I'm afraid that a tub of live sphagnum would be the straw that broke the camel's back...

My friend has a small business, she blends oils for perfume and therapeutic oils.
Her business is starting to grow and she is looking for a machine that could measure out 10ml from a 'master' jar to invidual bottles.
Back when I sold products in 8-, 16-, & 32-ounce containers, I used a calibrated manual pump that delivered 8 ounces per stroke, but now I use 1L & 4L calibrated “measuring cups” that I use manually.

Your friend ought to look into lab supply shops for a bottle top dispenser.
