Default Rhododendron Fire Plum - Vireya

Hi all,

I've posted this one in the past. I've had it for 9 years, kinda. I bought it 9 years ago and had it in my terrarium.
I took a cutting from it before it died and have had this one in Semi/Hydro with my other apartment plants.
I don't know how long I've had it. Unfortunately I lost almost all my other Vireyas due to Corona closures. I had them in my lab and was forced to abandon them suddenly in March.

Really beautiful! I can't remember - are these typically cool growing cloud forest plants, or do some of them tolerate warm terraria?

Yes, they like it cool. But they tolerate room temperature well. I add some ice to the top of the pot every night, that seems to keep them happy.
