WHAT?!? I need the volume of a bushel of wheat! Who deals with bushel anymore? Honestly. I don't know how hard this would have been at the time. It's all relative to time and place. I can't answer ANY of the questions on the US anyway, I grew up in Jamaica... by the time I was in grade 8, we were learning about the processing of sugarcane and coffee.

I asked my girlfriend who is a math teacher of the 6th grade. She said they still ask about bushels and that somewhere in the text book it defines bushel!! I nearly feel feet up! This is NYC!
