LOL I think of these as more difficult to grow versions of oleander. They certainly are pretty.

The first of my dark purple clones ('CC35') is now blooming. Considering that the standard is pink/red with white center, it's a wonder that this color has been achieved.
This one is a graft. It is not growing anywhere near as well as the seedlings.

On a different note, I purchased seeds from variegated plants, and they generally come out 'variegated' (more of a dusting, than a picotee).
However, in some of the seed batches purchased for color, a number of these dusted variegated plants have shown up.

That’s pretty cool!! These seeds are like orchid small. How did you manage to plant trays? Did you ruin them out after?

Not sure what you mean - Adenium seeds are quite large, elongated but narrow. When the pod opens they have a pappus (little parachute) on each end.

As ES writes, seeds are fairly large, most are about 5 mm long and 1-1.5 mm thick.
- I start them in plug trays, covered with a clear dome.
- From there they go into short 2" square pots (saved from incoming orchid seedling shipments). That's the stage shown in photo above.
- Eventually they will go into 3.1/4" or 3.1/2" pots, where they will stay till BS.
BTW, I started purchasing seed from a US seller on Ebay. I did not get good germination on those. Then I switched to sellers in Taiwan and Thailand, with far better results (fresher seeds).
Also, here is a photo of another grafted plant, that is just starting to bloom.

Could I grow one of these as a houseplant in winter? I may "need" one. A cool companion plant for my Madagascar Jewel, right??
