Back in PA and here in NC, it is fine to kill "vermin" or to hunt (with a license) larger critters like wild pigs, deer, birds, etc., but it is illegal to relocate any wildlife.

I drown them, freeze them and give them to friends who keep rattlesn akes. Rattlesnakes greatly prefer local food as opposed to exotic.

Years ago a friend had another couple over to share a meal. One of them asked what for dinner and she replied "oh rats" and opened the oven and pulled out a steaming rat. The couple gasped, until they were told it was feeding day( which is once a week) for their boa.
