Do you have wind? Set up a windmill, some belts, reducing gears and pulleys to drive a rotisserie over a fire. Probably not as involved as splitting and drilling a lava rock.

Beware what you promise! I can eat and especially drink a LOT! Another question... once I get there, can I stay for a week or two?

I don't have a 'posh' BBQ but a local brand, does the job very well. Best thing I ever cooked on it was a very large turkey (not on the rotisserie!) after we had an electric power cut one Christmas Day. It worked so well it has become the standard now and it leaves the house oven with lots of room for all the other stuff like roast potatoes and parsnips.
Your chicken looks scrumptious!
Our local large store had Weber grills for the first time this year - they look amazing - but so large and expensive!

I bet that is amazing!
You also get to not heat up the kitchen so much with extra oven duty
I fry my turkeys now…but that’s a different thread
One of the best things for me about a big grill is the ability to have staggered heat zones. This is a four burner, they run front to back, and so I can go from 100 degree offset smoking to 1250 degree char depending on the need
I have a separate smoker and a metal barrel for charcoal cooking when needed
The most fun for me is the extra time outside. Lol. If my grill were in a hut or in a kitchen I would be much less motivated to use it.
