Inocucor should be kept cool and dark, Refrigeration is good, freezing is not. The bottles come to me with a lot expiration date. The current stock is labeled 06/2021. Refrigeration will extend that a bit.
KelpMax is less temperature sensitive (no live microbes), but cool and dark is a good idea for that as well. Extended heat should be avoided (it supposedly degrades rapidly at 40C). The published shelf life at room temperature is 3 years (current stock was produced 6/19) but the producer has shown that after an additional year, samples have shown no degradation. I don’t put an expiration date on the labels as I sell a LOT of it, and anyone who has tried it uses it regularly, so it’s gone well before it could expire.
The issue with powdered fertilizers is moisture. It may change the color and consistency, but does little-to-nothing to degrade it. Moisture DOES make it difficult to measure by weight, as you don’t know just how much water is in it! Keep it well sealed and there’s no issue.
