I got a Facebook notice that Dr. Glenn C. Lehr has passed away.

Thank you, Dr. Lehr for all your contributions in the orchid world and beyond.

Oh, no, that is sad news. I've had the pleasure of talking to Glenn once in a while when he was able to come to our society meetings. Such a wonderful gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Well I can't say I know who he was, but it is always sad to see such a well liked person pass. RIP.

Thanks for sharing this; his long-time nursery partner, Alex Challis passed away late last winter. The worst part about getting older is hearing about friends exiting the greenhouse for the last time
