Bug with youtube videos

It seems that the height of the post container doesn't care about videos.

I want to refer to a video on YouTube in my post and I have the same problem. I didn't see anyone respond to your thread so I'm bumping it.

Bulbopedilum referred to the height of the post container didn't apply to videos; only to photos people post on a thread.

I was replying to a post by someone on a thread with a link to a video on YouTube and previewed the post and discovered it posted the video directly to my reply which I wasn't expecting. The video was also pretty tall.... I did a search to see how I can make a reference to a video on YouTube listing the web address and timestamp without having the actual video post like the test you did but I came up empty-handed except for Bulbopedilum's thread.

spclk ...... thanks for explaining! Know what you mean too here! There's some interesting scripting they added in the forum software, which is pretty sneaky. I recall one time, all I wanted to do was just put up a basic text link to a video, but the script processing software keeps converting the link to something unwanted!

It looks like the forum software/script keeps looking for patterns for video links, and always attempts to put up a video frame whenever a video link is detected. Maybe there is a code that could be added to stop it from doing that. Will be interested to see if there is such a code!

I guess I'll go ahead and post my reply with the link and timestamp to what I was referring to. Everyone will get a laugh out of it anyway. My husband sure did when he watched it. Thanks for replying to my post.
