The chat room's hay day was pre 2010. Man we had great times.
They way we used to do it was by advertising a specific time and date. Example, Monday, Wednesday and Friday were chat nights. Everyone interested would meet at that time. A banner would pop up on the main page to remind users. Eventually interest waned and the chat room fell into disuse.
