Site Updates Pending
If I find the time, I may start upgrading the front end of the website to the latest version. Maybe tomorrow morning... This would mean that I'd have to take the site down.
There seem to be some weirdness happening under Internet Explorer. I'm tired of IE's constant bugs and problems.
I added a referral icon to the side, under Forum Sponsors block with a link to upgrade to FireFox with Google Tool Bar. I live on both and would recommend for everyone to upgrade to FireFox. Google Toolbar is a great ad on to any browser as well.
If you're an IE user, it may take you a day or two to get used to FF.

I'm feeling withdrawal symptoms already!
I put Firefox on my system to deal with the occasional IE problems that occur. It's really not much different but it does take a few and to get familiar with the options available.
Marty, if you need any help from me, let me know

I'm already with Foxfire and it's great .. Default the Foxfire as your primary browser and keep your IE enabled to get Microsoft Updates for your system.

I agree. I didn't realize how pain free the install would be. I already had google toolbar so that is transparent to me. The only thing I see majorly different is all the security warning boxes I get. Otherwise it looks pretty much the same except for speed. Way faster and I can now open links that didn't work before. I may never open IE again

I took to firefox like a fish to water. I did the switch over more than a year ago when IE started giving me problems viewing orchid board. Yea, thats how important OB is to me. I just switched and never looked back. Went from IE which I had know my whole internetting life to FF which I learned about the day I switched over. Have not regretted it. What ever happened to Netscape?

Netscrape, now was that a browser? Yeah I used to use it also, but not sure it's even a player anymore? Funny thing just happened to my install. Firefox just froze up - notta. I rebooted PC thinking clearing things out might be good. Seems IE is sooooo embedded in the windows OS, that it now reports a problem when one of my printers is turned off! That's weird! Never did that before. This might be more of a growing pain than I originally thought. Also I run Zone Alarm Pro and Firefox's security apparently has to be set somehow in Zone Alarm because the two are fighting each other

I just decided to go back to IE as my default. I'm REALLY tired of constant lockups with Firefox. Glad for you guys that have it together, but my Firefox install seems to suck! I have had 3 total stalls this afternoon where I had to <ctrl><alt><del> to get it shut down and start a REAL browser!

Ross, why don't you uninstall and then download it again. You might have downloaded a corrupted file...it happens
I use FF as a backup because there are so many problems with IE...not the other way around.

Generally I do not have any problems with IE 7.0, although I do also use Firefox.
