Default Being Logged Out Problem

Hi,

I am confused with this board.

I logged in, system accepted me.

But when I try to reply or open a thread, system will caution me that I am not logged. So, I need to login again to do a reply or opening a thread.

Will someone help me out this problem, please.

Thank you.

I have the same problem. I get logged out every 10 minutes or so without knowing it until I click a new link. I have a tool that logs me in automatically, so if I haven't clicked anything for a few minutes and I click a link it logs me in. This is true for me with all forums using this forum's format.

Thks Gage.

So, I am not the only one facing this problem.

Alright, just before I replied to your post, I selected "reply", it went the same weird thing again.
So, no choice, I have to login again and now I selected "quote reply".

BTW, what tool did you use?

I think allowing the cookies and then choosing the 'remember me' option when you log on should solve it.

Another thing I remember Marty saying in the past was to make sure you type 'www.' at the beginning of the address. Just typing orchidboard.com works in newer browsers because it assumes the www. but somehow it can be slightly different in the way it then behaves. Years ago (could have changed now) people who were not entering www. were getting a problem like you describe.

P.S. I've just moved your thread as you probably won't get as many responses in the intos section... except lots of people saying Hi, which doesn't really help
