Website speed - Page 4 - Orchid Board

I logged in sometime around 8am EST and it seemed ok, but in the last 15 minutes (8:45am EST onwards) it's lagging again, with only the banner showing......I've just tested some other graphic intensive pages and they're loading speedy, with no probs...

It is very slow. This happens more frequently than not. Checking other very graphically heavy sites reveals no loading problems. Thought it was just me but atlas it is not.

I left it for a while, and logged back in again after 1pm EST and it's slow again...hanging....so it really seems to be varying as far as times go.....

I wouldn't be so quick to jump, if I were you! Marty, you know I've been a critic, but the only time I get a lag is first time I visit site in Morning and that may be my set up. Rest of time (other than when you give us an alert there is some problem) it is fine. Now I have DSL high speed and fast computer so my speed may be different from others. I know you'll do best thing for all concerned, but as you have said before to me and others, clear your cookies!

Being new here, I;m not sure how long these lags have been occurring, but if it's been happening often, you may want to take your business elsewhere and find another host..

I agree with the cookie comment, but clearing cache/cookies on a daily basis...and still experiencing the lags...running highspeed as well, with new equipment.....and if other graphic intensive pages load successfully and speedily...just sounds like it's a hosting issue....
