What am I not doing right? I still have the ads cutting off the list of threads. Is there some setting I should change?

The ad is a necessary evil, it helps pay for running this board, but the empty spaces should be gone now. See Ray's original image.

The adds between posts have always been there, but good to see the white space is gone.

If you are a forum supporter one of the perks is less adverts. The adverts had appeared for forum supporters as well recently but Marty's fixed that so the perk is back again now (thanks Marty ). If you are interested in being a forum supporter click on the purple flower near my name.

that's how my screen looks and I KNOW they weren't there 2 months ago. I'm not a forum supporter but I never got these big blocks of ads in the middle of the list of new posts. Something has changed.

I've looked more closely and it seems that for forum supporters the adverts are gone when reading the individual forum, but there is still a BIG one there if reading by 'Today's Posts' or 'New Posts' Not sure if this is intentional or not. They were everywhere last week and have reduced now, but still more than supporters used to have (previously forum supporters only had the ones at the top and the forum sponsors ones.

I know there are adverts between threads/posts for those who are not supporters. Marty has to raise money to run the servers which such a busy forum need high bandwidth and processing and that costs more than a less active forum would cost. I know forum supporters get less (definitely none between posts within a thread) because of the contribution we have made to the costs.

I thought there had always had been ones like Nenella shows, when I didn't log in. I can't be certain though.
