Unable to send a private message

I'm working in Firefox. I've been unable to send a private message.
Every time I hit submit thread, I jump back to the Inbox, with no sent items in the sentbox.
It happens if I try to acces the pm field via a reply-to, or via someones name, then hit send private message.
Nothing happens..
Help??

She's been PMing me, and I got them all, but for some reason her sent messages don't go in the sent items folder. Are there setting to change somewhere?

There is a setting in your options as to whether it should save outgoing messages in the sent items or not. I've got a feeling that by default it doesn't as my first few when I joined years ago didn't save until I spotted this option.

If it's not that option then I'm not sure what it can be, but the options screen is worth checking to see what it's set to.
