pictures and graphics in signatures
This comes up always on every forum. I think it's time to ban graphics and photos in signatures. These don't really add to the posts and are actually a bit distractive.
Links, quotes, etc are OK, but please no graphics.
any thoughts?

I think this is a wise idea..Some of the graphics on the bottom of posts have been pretty large. I have been having trouble loading some pages due to the size.

I agree. It is a reasonable thing, and will improve readability and performance of threads.

OK, images and smilies have now been disabled. Any images that ppl had in their signatures won't get parsed and will show up as a URL. Sorry to all that enjoyed these, but it's for the better  |
