It wasn't something publicly known that we were looking for new moderators and it's actually happened pretty quickly since some suggestions were made to Marty just before the weekend.
Both Camille and WhiteRabbit came back to me very quickly when I asked them on behalf of Marty yesterday, and I'm very grateful to them both  |

Marty installed a spam filter and since then the spam has been reduced quite a bit.
