It might be one of the things Marty has disabled temporarily.
Over on this thread he said there have been some hacking attempts and he is trying to work out where our vulnerability is and has disabled some sections he thinks might be a problem. |

I tried the 'chat thingy' a long time ago and have never been back.
I just got started and was immediately swamped by others who jumped in and have learned my lesson.

Rosie, that might be a good idea been a lot of bogus names showing up registering . What is the subscribe function, have seen it on the persons profile that tells what they are doing ..

Just a note. I'm not sure how crowded it was when you tried, but now it's typically slow. Usually it's just two or three people. If any.

I don't think it's necessarily people registering in the software, rather people trying to hack the underlying server, not sure they need to register here to attempt that but I may be wrong. I don't really know much about what goes on 'under the bonnet'.
Let's hope Marty sorts it out. |
