For some reason this is not showing on my computer. There is nothing above the Quote but blank space. When I'm looking at other people's posts (not my own) this should be showing. Right??

Well yes, I might have clicked 'Like' on a few posts... but then I really like a lot of orchid pictures

Marty has found the reason for this and it's the 'Style' you are using for the forum.

It only works on the 'Orchid Board - Fixed' style. Go right to the bottom of the forum and on the very very bottom left there is a choice of either 'Orchid Board' or 'Orchid Board - Fixed'. If you have 'Orchid Board' the new like function is not working

A couple of people have commented that the fixed version is a problem for them, see below.

You can use this on particular posts, not just the thread as a whole.

It's really just a quick way of showing apreciation or agreement with something. Many people (me included) are really used to this in facebook and for some time now I've found myself reading things and then going for the mouse to click 'like' only to remember it's not here.

Personally I've never rated threads, it's never struck me as something to use but that's just me. This feels much more natural for me, but again it's probably based on what I'm used to.
