Removing Facebook widget?

Hi there,

Often, when I take a quick break at work, I have a browse of Orchid Board. Unfortunately, the work firewall has a pretty blunt tool to limit people accessing facebook during the day - it drops any packets which refer to facebook.

This means that Orchid Board pages take a *very* long time to load because of the facebook "people who like this" widget in the lefthand column.

Might it be possible to include an option (perhaps only for supporters) to disable the display of this panel?

I guess the easiest way to implement that (not knowing the underlying software) would be to have another style/template that doesn't include this; as an added bonus, you could perhaps have people choose their own board styles.

I guess once you're a Supporter, the Forum Supporter "nag" widget just above it should also disappear

Hi Discus,

Marty is the only persion who can change these sorts of things, so I've dropped him a message to ask him to take a look at this thread.

I'm also going to move it to the 'Feedback' area, as I think Marty spots things in there more quickly than elsewhere in the board.

Can't promise he will agree with your suggestion, but he's the one to ask.
